Entsprechend machten wir uns fr\u00fchmorgens auf den Weg, um der Rushhour zu entkommen.<br \/>\nErstes Ziel war die Zuckerbahn in Clewiston. Direkt hinter dem Lokschuppen stand eine EMD-GP11 der US Suggar Corp. (Bild 1). Weiter hinten mei\u00dfelte der Diesel einer weiteren GP-11.<\/p>\n<p>Auf dem nun folgenden Weg stellten wir fest, dass au\u00dferhalb von Clewiston an den Gleisen der Zuckerbahn gebaut wird. Au\u00dferdem wurde umfangreiche Vegetationspflege betrieben (Bild 3 und 4).<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e4chstes Ziel war die Klappbr\u00fccke in Stuart. Vom Restaurant am Ufer hatten wir bei einem vorz\u00fcglichen Burger die Br\u00fccke gut im Blick&#8230;Leider kam nichts.<br \/>\nDa wir zwischen 15 und 17 Uhr in Miami sein wollten, gingen wir leer aus.<\/p>\n<p>Zu dieser Uhrzeit f\u00e4hrt n\u00e4mlich die Anschlussbedienung des Port of Miami. Die Hafenbahn f\u00fchrt \u00fcber den Vorplatz der American Airlines Arena und dann \u00fcber eine Klappbr\u00fccke direkt in den Hafen. Wir hatten Gl\u00fcck, die ermittelten Zeiten stimmten tats\u00e4chlich. Es kamen zwei EMD G40 der Florida East Coast Railway.(Bild 5-8) <\/p>\n<p>Anschlie\u00dfend machten wir noch einen Abstecher nach Fort Lauderdale zu Tri-Rail.
