Am 28.12.12 durchquerte er Recklinghausen. Da die eigenen Wagen von HKX noch nicht einsatzbereit sind, leiht sich HKX Wagen unter anderem von der Nordostseebahn. In der N\u00e4he befindet sich das Naherholungsgebiet Halde Hoheward. Am Ostteil der Halde wurde allerdings 2012 noch Abraum aus der Zeche Prosper Haniel sowie aus der Zeche Auguste-Victoria in Marl aufgsch\u00fcttet.
